Yes, @Edward this is being recorded and we will share the recording in our follow up email.

Can Heidi turn her video on? Is there bandwidth to do that?
Jennifer Shea
15:46
To the point of setting up a Zoom meeting in ilearn, I tried that but didn't get the dial-in options that you normally get if you set it up through the usual Zoom scheduling function. I want to make sure students who may have internet connectivity issues can still dial in. Is there a way to include dial-in options when scheduling from ilearn? Or did I just miss that when I tried?
Deb Perry
15:50
Hi @Deborah, to maintain the best quality audio, we’ll keep the videos off. Sorry!
Deborah Cohler
16:06
Deb - no worries!
Deb Perry
16:33
Hi @Jennifer, those dial-in options should still exist in iLearn.
Deb Perry
17:09
And @Jennifer, we agree that it’s smart to offer your students as many options as possible! 😀

20:19
Is it okay to share this recording with people who did not attend the session?

Leigh Jin
24:49
I have one questions
workshop@ sfsu.edu
25:18
Hi Leigh, what’s your question?
Leigh Jin
25:22
Could you ask students to enter a brief text with polls?
workshop@ sfsu.edu
25:39
There isn’t a text option — just multi choice
Jennifer Stimson
26:01
So are the rooms only 1-2 People max?
Mary P Hughes Stone
26:03
Is there a maximum number of rooms or particpants in rooms?
Leigh Jin
26:33
Got it thanks !
Jennifer Stimson
28:03
Am I missing how to set the nub mer?
Jennifer Stimson

I use learning circle groups in my class—so these are preassigned groups that are working on different tasks during class time. Can I set these up prior to class and will they store this information so that I don’t have to assign students each class
priyanka joshi
29:45
thanks
Kathleen Shea
29:58
I set up a recurring zoom link for my class, will the polling stay on from other events?
Mary P Hughes Stone
30:14
Do you find if you have more than say 20 particpants is it helpful to have two co-hosts--like you two are modeling here
Kathleen Shea
30:31
thank you
Bahar Mikhak
30:58
Thanks for the question about the recurring meeting and polls
Mary P Hughes Stone
31:18
Got it thanks
Mary P Hughes Stone
32:52
Have you tried to remind participants about the broadcast link and more find it? Like you have done for us?
Edward Rovera
32:59
Thank you.
Allison Gilchrist
33:33
Hi, are the breakout rooms timed for 20 minutes etc, then rooms are automatically closed?
Bahar Mikhak
33:38
Thanks Deb :-)
priyanka joshi
33:40
I have read the you can upload an xls file with students assigned to specific groups and posting them on zoom
Mary P Hughes Stone
33:54
Thanks!
Deborah Cohler
33:58
Is the group chat available to students once they go into the breakout rooms? So if I put links up in the chat before they go into groups, can they access those links from the groups?
Allison Gilchrist
34:33
Perfect. Thanks.
Kathleen Shea
34:53
sorry, was playing with annotation button.
Jennifer Stimson
35:39
So it really seems like the only way to connect with them in groups is to join their group
Leigh Jin
37:35
Do you recommend to use breakout rooms to do group presentations?
Jennifer Stimson
38:37
Is that easy to do to have the student share their screen?
Leigh Jin
38:59
Got it. Thanks !
Bahar Mikhak
39:15
Thanks for the question about screen share.
Therese Doan
39:34

Deb Perry

We will share the recording with you in the follow up email.
Therese Doan
40:29
thakns.
Drew Borland
41:47
Am I correct that if one student shares their screen, this prevents others sharing until they stop screen ?
Therese Doan
42:55
When you share screen, is it better to stop the video so people see full screen?
Erik Peper
43:01
how to have larger font in the chat box
Drew Borland
43:34
Will you be providing a copy of your slides in the follow-up email (please!)?
Tania Pollak
44:35
When a student sends a chat to me (instructor), can all the students see it on my screen? Chat is sent to me only.
Deborah Cohler
44:38
Larger font is key for accessibility issues…..might get Zoom people to move on it…
Therese Doan
44:39
can you start my video?
Jennifer Stimson
44:56
Agree with Deborah about ADA
